It's been almost a full year since TUFF toured the U.K., roughly two years since TUFF played stateside and nearly a decade since Stevie Rachelle and co-founding guitarist Jorge DeSaint have shared the stage. That will all change on Saturday August 2nd 2003 as TUFF has been invited to play the main stage at the Inaugural POWERFEST in Budapest Hungary along with Twisted Sister, Scorpions & Tommy Lee of Motley Crue! "The last time we played together was in 1995 and this is quite a way to do a re-union of sorts" says DeSaint. TUFF will also feature Jamie Fonte who filled the bass slot during the 1994/95 touring years along with Drummer Tod "T" Burr. This event looks to draw crowds well into the tens-of-thousands and surely will bring together some of Americas greatest music acts along with Europes hottest at TOKOLI AIRFIELD.

TUFF has also been added to the Metal Sludge Xtravaganza Tour featuring: Faster Pussycat, Enuff Z'nuff & Pretty Boy Floyd in Hollywood, CA on July 24th at VINYL, and will also appear for a jam at All-Star Lanes in Eagle Rock, CA on Saturday July 26th supporting Enuff Z'nuff & Pretty Boy Floyd. The Los Angeles based group had a Top Ten MTV hit in the fall of 1991 with "I Hate Kissing You Goodbye" and the re-newed interest in 80s music has once again brought the band back into homes Nationwide with VH1's very popular "Where are they now" series which featured TUFF. Their most recent (2001) smash hit song "American Hair Band" is still a Heavy Metal/Hairband radio show favorite from coast to coast. The track was recently licensed by Universal Music Group/Canada for a 80s compilation titled "Mullet Years - Rockers." Released in the spring of 2003 "MY-Rockers" features songs from TUFF, Whitesnake, KISS, Skid Row, Twisted Sister, RATT, & Slaughter. TUFF has remained visable to their fans worldwide thanks to the Internet. "Along with many new groups and some that have went the way of the dinasour, the information super highway known as Cyber space is directly responsible for fans from Hungary to Hawaii having the ability to learn about these groups" says Rachelle. It looks as if though even after 15 plus years TUFF is still relevant to their die-hard legion of fans. "I'm really looking forward to my third trip to Europe in as many years. Fans are great everywhere, but traveling abroad, meeting the people and seeing how their lives are vastly different - yet very similar in ways is a blessing to experience." says Rachelle.
